Hunched at the piano, a troubled artist struggles to create his masterpiece. The Composer presents a creative process on stage, taking the audience on a journey of inspiration, setback and accomplishment.

Fusing elements of circus, music and dance, The Composer presents music as a visual element through the performers.

During its season at the New Zealand Fringe Festival in 2018 The Composer was nominated for best emergent company.
